Nancy Naylor is the Associate Deputy Minister, Health System Delivery and Implementation within the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. She has been instrumental in implementing the ministry’s Patients First Agenda, advancements in primary care and home and community care to deliver a truly patient-centred health care system. In addition, Nancy is leading the implementation of the Ministry’s Health System Funding Reform and the advancement of quality initiatives.

Nancy has extensive experience in the Ontario government, having worked in the Ministry of Finance, Education and Training, Colleges and Universities where she has drawn on her experience in policy, strategy development and implementation to address key government commitments. Nancy is Chair of Health Shared Services Ontario’s Board of Directors and a member of CIHI’s Board of Directors.

Nancy holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, a master’s degree in Public Administration. She lives in Toronto with her husband and has two adult sons.

Nancy wll be talking about some of the key health care challenges we face in Ontario.
