For IHPME, Anna annually teaches HAD5737 Tools for Implementation of Best Evidence and supervises both MSc and PhD students. Anna collaborates nationally and internationally with clinician investigators that require support for systematic reviews and qualitative research. Her autonomous research on guideline implementation and role as Chair of the Guidelines International Network Implementation Working Group has influenced approaches and methods for developing and evaluating guidelines, and planning and undertaking guideline implementation, in particular though the development of guideline implementation tools. Her research on integrated knowledge translation, along with Dr. Whitney Berta, resulted in the formation of the Collaborative Healthcare Improvement Partnerships Theme Group for the Canadian Association of Health Services and Policy Research.
