My interests are in comparative effectiveness research and health technology assessment using observational studies, clinical trials, systematic reviews, surveys, economic evaluation studies, and use of administrative databases to answer health services research questions. Currently my main focus is in congenital heart disease interventions. I am also interested and have experience in health services research in heart failure and other cardiovascular diseases, obstructive sleep apnea, COPD and rare diseases. We are currently working towards establishing a national research network and a prospective registry for congenital heart disease interventions in Canada to answer high priority research questions, embracing innovative methods and new technological solutions that will generate excellent research and training opportunities for incoming students and fellows.
