Book Launch: Case Studies in Canadian Health Policy and Management (3rd Edition)

The volume is co-edited by Professor Raisa B. Deber and Valerie A. Rackow. Professor Deber is a leading scholar in Canadian health policy whose impactful, interdisciplinary research has shaped national conversations on health system financing, accountability, workforce dynamics, and patient engagement. Her contributions have been widely recognized, including election as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences.

Valerie Rackow, Adjunct Professor at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation, brings extensive experience in mental health administration and a strong focus on accountability and the determinants of health. Her work reflects a deep commitment to understanding what Canadians want from their health care system and how it can better support health and wellbeing.
