Join the Collaborative Centre for Climate, Health & Sustainable Care and the People’s Health Movement Canada for our upcoming Critical Conversations seminar featuring Dr. Anne-Emanuelle Birn and Dr. Erika Arteuga Cruz. This talk will examine the health impacts of Canadian mining in Latin America, focusing on Ecuador, and how Canadian policies enable related harms. It will also explore transnational activism challenging extractive practices and highlight Andean worldviews that support more just, non-extractive futures.
