​About the Host: The Collaborative Centre for Climate, Health & Sustainable Care is a multi-faculty academic unit at the University of Toronto, leveraging the combined strengths of the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, the Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing, and the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy. The Collaborative Centre provides a dedicated academic home to advance climate change, sustainability and planetary health research, education, and action for health and across health systems. The unit brings together diverse expertise to generate knowledge, train future leaders, and support meaningful change in policy and practice. The work is rooted in a shared commitment to build resilient, sustainable models of care and to protect the health of people and communities in a rapidly changing climate. The Collaborative Centre hosts regular events, including an annual Climate & Health Conference (hosted this year on October 23, 2026).
