Join the Collaborative Centre for Climate, Health & Sustainable Care for a lunch time webinar about how climate change affects our health and healthcare systems.

​From extreme heat and poor air quality to the spread of diseases and impacts on mental health, climate change already affects our daily lives.

​In this webinar, leading experts from the University of Toronto and the Toronto Academic Health Science Network (TAHSN) will discuss what a changing climate means for our health today and in the future. We will explore the challenges we face and ways to build more sustainable and resilient communities and healthcare systems. Join us for this insightful and engaging conversation. Open to all.

About the Host: The Collaborative Centre for Climate, Health & Sustainable Care is a multi-faculty academic unit at the University of Toronto, leveraging the combined strengths of the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, the Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing, and the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy. The Collaborative Centre provides a dedicated academic home to advance climate change, sustainability and planetary health research, education, and action for health and across health systems. The unit brings together diverse expertise to generate knowledge, train future leaders, and support meaningful change in policy and practice. The work is rooted in a shared commitment to build resilient, sustainable models of care and to protect the health of people and communities in a rapidly changing climate. The Collaborative Centre hosts regular events, including an annual Climate & Health Conference (hosted this year on October 23, 2026).
