Health Care Technology and Place (HCTP) is pleased to invite you to its 13th annual Interdisciplinary Symposium. This final one-day symposium is designed to bring together past and present fellows, mentors, and everyone interested in learning about the impact the HCTP program has had over 13 years. The morning will consist of a panel discussion on the definitions and applications of “evidence” across health related disciplines. Before breaking for lunch, we will see an example of utilizing evidence in practice through a multimedia display. The afternoon panel will feature a genealogy of HCTP mentors and fellows who will address effective interdisciplinary health research and touch on the history of HCTP across the various cohorts. The day will end with a keynote on theoretical developments in interdisciplinary health research. We invite past and present members of the HCTP community and the larger scholarly community to join us in this celebration of where we have been, where we are, and where we are going.
