Professional Interests

As a geriatrician with formal training in health services research, health policy and sociology, I am currently interested in conducting research and developing evidence that can broadly support healthy ageing and the development of sustainable models of care and practices that can best meet the needs of our ageing population.

Impact

Thus far, I have been able to lead to the development of new models of health and social care that have been successfully implemented and evaluated as being able to deliver better patient and system outcomes. I have further been able to shape broader policy and practice discussions and decision at the provincial and national level through my work leading the development of Ontario Seniors Strategy.
