Health System Sustainability and Patient Engagement Symposium – Keynote Speakers

Patients and caregivers can act as engines for change within our health system. When it comes to sustainability in health care, whether that includes manufacturing pressures for single use products, or waste management in home care and hospital, there are many opportunities for leaders in health care to raise awareness about our need to chart a path forward to build sustainability.

On March 25, IHPME hosted a symposium to raise awareness of sustainability in our health system and opportunities to engage patients. The symposium included keynote speaker Rachel Stancliffe of the Centre for Health System Sustainability in the UK and Emily Nicholas Angl Director of Health Engagement and Communication with Reframe Health Labs.
