Paul Wankah (MD, MSc, PhD) is a health services researcher at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME) at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. He obtained a Medical Degree at the University of Yaoundé 1, Cameroon; and a Master’s and PhD in Health Sciences at the Université de Sherbrooke, Québec. Dr Wankah’s program of work focuses on improving the science and evaluation of Community-Based Integrated Primary Health Care Models (CBIPHC). Specifically, he examines the implementation and impact of health care policies that support CBIPHC models, applies implementation science and organizational change theories to uncover how to best implement various aspects of CBIPHC models with a special focus on equity informed models of community care. Paul uses qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods to address his research interests.
