For general information on using the WordPress dashboard, please consult the official WordPress manual. Please note however that some features/sections do not apply to the IHPME site (e.g. comments) or have been heavily modified (e.g. User management).

Notable Administrative Areas

In the lower portion of the WordPress administration menu, you'll find items for managing various settings for the site, outside of the content itself. Most notably for regular use, these include:

Settings Screen	Function/Purpose
Appearance > Menus	Manager for the Explor IHPME flyout menu content.
Appearance > Template Blocks	Manage content for the site footer, post type footers, and 404 page of the site.
Tools > Redirection	Controls URL redirections on the site.
Settings > Reading	Dictate the canonical index pages for various content types.
Users	Manage who has access to the WordPress backend and other parts of the site.
