Description
This course introduces students to foundational issues and concepts for the analysis of health systems – in Canada with a global perspective. Designed for research stream (MSc/PhD) students at IHPME, the course aims to equip students with an understanding of the structure and operation of health systems, the role of health systems in sustaining health, and the policy and politics that condition their evolution and impacts.

- Describe key issues and trends in health service delivery and health policy
- Critically analyze current issues and trends in Canada’s health care system
