Auditing Courses

Looking to audit a course at IHPME? See below for instructions.

Please note, students who audit a course at IHPME do not submit assignments, are not evaluated, and do not earn a grade or credit towards a degree. Additionally, the audited course will not appear on your transcript.

Audit Instructions for IHPME Courses

Currently registered U of T students may audit IHPME courses with permission from the instructor. If no Certificate of Attendance is required, you will not pay a fee.

If you are not currently registered as a student or staff at U of T there is an auditing fee.

Steps:

  1. Review the course description as some courses do not allow auditing.
  2. Contact the course instructor for permission to audit their course.
  3. Complete and sign the “SGS Course Audit Form”
  4. Forward the instructor confirmation email and the Course Audit Form to the relevant Program Assistant.
  5. The Program Assistant will contact you if payment of the auditing fee is required.
  6. Students who are auditing a course are added manually to the course on Quercus by the Program Assistant.
