The 2024 Adaptive Platform Trials Scientific Meeting, hosted by the Upstream Lab, offers a unique opportunity to explore the latest advancements and best practices in adaptive platform trials. Researchers, professionals, trainees and community members will gain a comprehensive understanding of adaptive platform trial design, operations and implementation.

Conference Objectives

  1. Understand the key elements of designing and implementing adaptive platform trials.
  2. Gain insights into the operational aspects of adaptive platform trials, including protocol development, case report form design, data management, and the role of standardization and operational documents.
  3. Learn about the importance of pre-trial model-based simulations and interim statistical analyses.
  4. Discuss ethical considerations, best practices, and the role of Research Ethics Boards in operationalizing ethical guidelines throughout adaptive platform trials.
  5. Explore strategies for effective engagement and involvement of participants, including patients and other stakeholders, in the adaptive platform trial process.
