CCHE Seminar Series – Friday October 10, 10am to 12pm in HS100

Dear All,

As part of the Canadian Centre for Health Economics (CCHE) Friday Health Economics Series, we welcome Amy Hsu this Friday October 10th, 10am – 12pm in HS100 (Health Sciences Building 155 College Street). Amy will explore “Efficiency estimation with quantile regressions: An application using a panel of long-term care homes in Ontario”.

Amy Hsu is a PhD student at the Institute of Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation, University of Toronto, as well as a Student Fellow of the Canadian Centre for Health Economics. Her research interest encompasses topics related to the economic and sociological implications of aging. More specifically, the impact it has on the use and provision of long-term care. Her doctoral dissertation is an exploration of different approaches that can be used to measure the productivity and operational efficiency of service providers in the long-term care sector.
