This full-day event will strengthen our collective capacity to understand and address the health and health system challenges of climate change and the demands of sustainability. This event will feature keynote speakers, panel sessions, workshops, and poster presentations on a variety of topics, including:

  • Sustainable prescribing
  • Reducing low-value care
  • Quality improvement & sustainability
  • Climate adapted, low-carbon care
  • Planetary health professions education & more!

Early bird registration ends September 13th. We are accepting late-breaking and student abstracts until August 31st with a strong preference for poster submissions (an extended deadline of September 9th is available for posters only). Learn more about how to submit.

The lecture is part of the "Big Ideas" series. Dr. Kathryn Parker, PhD, the speaker, is currently the Associate Director of Transformative Change with the Centre for Advancing Collaborative Healthcare and Education, a TIER Education Investigator 2, and Associate Professor with the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Toronto. She applies her program evaluation skills when working with numerous academic/clinical groups to facilitate and direct program evaluation efforts. Her work has garnered numerous awards (Larry Chester Award, Sherman Award of Excellence, and many more).
