FHLIP 2026 – From Silos to Synergy: Building Bridges

Share Event

As Canada’s healthcare system faces mounting challenges—from fragmented care delivery to the rapid adoption of AI and digital health—the need for collaboration and integration has never been more urgent. FHLIP 2026 will bring together a diverse community of patients, academics, clinicians, policymakers, students, and industry leaders to explore how we can transition from isolated efforts to a truly connected and patient-centred system.

Why “From Silos to Synergy: Building Bridges”?

While Canada has made strides toward healthcare integration through initiatives such as:

  • Canada Health Infoway’s interoperability efforts, ensuring patient data seamlessly follows them across care settings.
  • Ontario Health Teams (OHTs) and BC’s Primary Care Networks (PCNs), advancing team-based, patient-centric care.
  • AI-driven clinical decision support and digital health tools, accelerating diagnosis and treatment
  • National discussions on digital health funding and sustainability, ensuring long-term economic viability.

Significant barriers remain—between regions, between sectors, and between policy and frontline implementation.

The FHLIP Advantage: A Neutral, Evidence-Based Forum for Real Change

Hosted by the University of Toronto, FHLIP offers an academic, evidence-based platform that fosters:

  • Patient engagement in shaping digital transformation.
  • Cutting-edge research on AI, interoperability, and sustainable health system design.
  • Clinicians and frontline leaders collaborating on real-world solutions.
  • Policy discussions bridging research and action.
  • Opportunities for students to connect with health system leaders and shape the future.

Unlike industry-driven events, FHLIP 2026 provides a neutral space for dialogue—free from commercial bias—where diverse stakeholders can engage in evidence-based discussions, challenge assumptions, and co-create solutions.

Be Part of the Future of Healthcare

FHLIP 2026 is more than a conference—it’s an incubator for healthcare transformation. Whether you’re a patient, researcher, policymaker, clinician, or student, your voice is critical in shaping Canada’s more connected, resilient, and sustainable healthcare system.
