Frank Markel, PhD is Adjunct Professor, Senior Fellow at the Institute of Health Policy,
Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto.

Speaker:
Ethan Gutmann is an award-winning China analyst,contributor to top U.S. media publications,
and author of Losing the New China. A former foreign policy analyst at the Brookings Institution
in Washington, D.C., he has testified before parliaments around the world.

Panel:

  • Bernard Dickens, LLB, LLM, PhD is Professor Emeritus of Health Law and Policy in the Faculty
    of Law, the Faculty of Medicine, and the Joint Centre for Bioethics at the University of Toronto.
  • Linda Wright, MHSc, MSW, RSW is Director of Bioethics at the University Health Network
    (UHN), Toronto, Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery and a member of the Joint
    Centre for Bioethics at the University of Toronto.
  • Jeff Zaltzman, MD is Director of Renal Transplants, Medicine and Nephrology and Director of
    Diabetes Comprehensive Care Program at St.Michael’s Hospital, Toronto and Professor of
    Medicine at the University of Toronto.
