October 14, 2015
IHPME colleagues and friends are invited to attend the second annual Moonshot Event, jointly hosted with Health Quality Ontario following Health Quality Transformation 2015.
Hosted By:
Adalsteinn Brown, IHPME Director, Joshua Tepper, HQO President and CEO and Jodeme Goldhar, Chief Strategy Officer at the Toronto CCAC and President of the IHPME Society of Graduates, will describe IHPME’s continued leadership and success in improving Ontarians’ healthcare.
Featuring:
Nick Barber, Director of Research at the Health Foundation, which underwrites research on quality and patient safety, will deliver the keynote address on what Canada can learn from recent National Health Service changes. An internationally-renowned UCL School of Pharmacy Professor, Barber’s work on medication errors had empowered national policy change in the U.K.
Andre Picard, the Globe and Mail’s public health reporter and one of Canada’s top public policy journalists, will lead a Q&A with Professor Barber.
Special Note: We will be streaming the Toronto Blue Jay’s game at this event!
Join us for a fun evening of food, drinks, awards and appreciation at the warm setting of The Hall at Steam Whistle Brewing. Celebrate the impact our students and alumni have on transforming health care, today and for the next generation. See our Event Poster – [PDF], and view photos from last year’s event.
