Student Information Session on ACE

IHPME students are invited to attend an information session on ACE – Accessing Centre for Expertise

ACE is a new IHPME centre that coordinates and provides research services to health system organizations. Dr. Dobrow will provide an overview of the new centre and discuss opportunities for students to work on short-term research projects.

A brief summary of ACE:

  • IHPME is one of the largest and most productive academic institutes for health services, systems and policy research in Canada, with important breadth and depth of expertise that allows the Institute to take an informed multi-disciplinary perspective on a wide range of challenges facing health system stakeholders.
  • ACE aims to enhance access to IHPME’s breadth and depth of expertise for health system organizations through (1) a searchable database of faculty expertise, (2) a searchable database of IHPME research products (e.g., reports, white papers, evidence briefs, dissertations and web-based tools), and (3) a consultation service for health system organizations to link them to IHPME faculty and coordinate the provision of research services.
