Lean methodology has been used in manufacturing companies for many years to improve process efficiency and minimize waste. Many health care systems and hospitals are increasingly using Lean thinking and principles to improve performance and processes. Interested in hearing about the applications of Lean Thinking in Healthcare from a clinician’s perspective ?

Kim Brophy RN, MN, Clinical Resource Leader and Improvement Facilitator from  The Scarborough Hospital – Innovation and Performance Improvement Office will be presenting and sharing her experience in leading Lean process improvement initiatives at the front line and some of the rapid improvement events she has facilitated.
