Aaron Orkin MD, MSc, MPH, PhD(c) is an emergency physician at Mt. Sinai Hospital and family physician at the Seaton House men’s shelter in Toronto. His research focuses on strategies to involve the public in the delivery of essential health services in low-resource settings and vulnerable populations. Aaron’s work explores the intersection between public health and clinical medicine. He studied medicine at McMaster University and completed residencies in Family Medicine at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine and Public Health & Preventive Medicine at the University of Toronto. He studied history and philosophy of medicine at the University of Oxford and Public Health at the University of Toronto. Aaron is still a student in clinical epidemiology at the University of Toronto.
