Join us for our inaugural event of the Lecture Series on Ethics and Governance of AI for Health with Catherine Stinson! The event will take place 4:00pm-5:30pm on Thursday, December 13th, at Women’s College Hospital.
Catherine Stinson is a Senior Policy Associate at the Mowat Centre, which is an independent public policy think tank located at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Toronto. Catherine completed a PhD in the History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Pittsburgh, and has an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Toronto. Catherine has recently authored commentaries in the Globe & Mail calling for deeper thinking about AI in health care, and has just completed a policy paper at the Mowat Centre called, “Policy Solutions for Big Data and AI Innovation in Health”.
Catherine will present an overview of the paper, followed by responses from a reactor panel.
