Based at North York General Hospital, Dr. Chui is the Evaluation Scientist with North York Toronto Health Partners Ontario Health Team (NYTHP OHT), one of 12 leading OHTs selected to accelerate the health systems model for Ontario.
As a health services researcher and registered occupational therapist, she brings together clinical, knowledge translation, and implementation science perspectives to advance population health. Dr. Chui is also an expert on scoping review methodology. Her research activities have focused on cognitive rehabilitation, mental health, patient and public research partnerships, and program evaluation. Her current work aims to improve health systems by building evaluation capacity within teams at the local health and social care level and advancing evidence-informed practices.
Prior to joining NYTHP, Dr. Chui completed an OHT Impact Fellowship (IHPME, University of Toronto) and Occupational Therapy Fellowship (Rotman Research Institute, Baycrest) and dabbled in science communication as Editor-in-Chief of rehabINK (Rehabilitation Sciences Institute, UofT).
