Research Interests
My research interests lie in utilizing various Health Information Technologies (HIT) to improve the efficiency and quality of care that patients receive. I am particularly interested in patient empowerment, and the role it plays in order to allow patients to be active participants in their own care. However, there continues to be a prominent gap in this ideal and the current state of affairs. I believe that HITs are a means of bridging this gap.
Professional Interests
I have experience in the hospital, home care and not for profit capacities, where I have implemented Electronic Medical Records (EMR), virtual care platforms, and Clinical Case Management System Software.
