Over the last 20 years, Dr Ak’ingabe Guyon has cumulated public health work and training experiences in multiple regional and provincial Quebec public health institutions, rural and urban British-Columbia, East Africa, England and Denmark. She currently works as Public Health and Preventive Medicine Specialist at the Montreal Public Health Unit. She is also Assistant Clinical Professor at École de Santé Publique de l’Université de Montréal and Adjunct professor at the McGill School of Population and Global Health. Her main practice and research interests are around healthy public policy, public health systems, and general public health practice.

· Improving public health finance capacity and spending data monitoring and reporting to inform the COVID recovery period: an international, sequential mixed-methods investigation (2021-2024), funded by the Canadian Institutes for Health Research
