Dr. Kaveh Shojania has published over 100 peer review articles, including in the New England Journal of Medicine, the Lancet, and JAMA among other leading journals. In 2004, he received one of the John M. Eisenberg Patient Safety Awards from the US Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and the National Quality Forum for work in patient safety that has had an impact at a national level. Since January 2011, he has been the Editor-in-Chief of BMJ Quality and Safety, the leading scientific publication in the fields of patient safety and healthcare quality improvement.
