As a neurosurgeon, surgical educator, and health professions education scholar, I have dedicated my academic career to creating high-impact, innovative educational experiences, promoting mentorship and diversity, and addressing systemic challenges in surgical training for the entire spectrum of learners, including high-school students, medical students, postgraduate trainees and fellows. My creative professional activities are grounded in a dual commitment: to advance education through evidence-informed, learner-centered innovations, and to build inclusive, globally relevant frameworks that support the next generation of surgeons.
I am interested in designing & implementing novel educational programs, the transformation of institutional training structures, and the development of simulation tools for residents and students. These initiatives reflect not only a commitment to improving how we teach surgery but also a broader vision of equitable access to surgical education, learner wellness, and global collaboration.
