I am an Adjunct Lecturer and alumni of the MSc in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety program at the IHPME. My teaching focuses on quality improvement. As a Patient Safety & Quality Improvement Specialist at University Health Network (UHN), I contribute to a high-reliability approach to patient safety and quality improvement across the organization. I support multiple programs at UHN through the safety event review process, am a data literacy advocate who has guided data strategy to drive data-informed improvement, and encourage the application of quality improvement methods to conduct improvement work internally and with other UHN programs.
I am also a Registered Pharmacist with clinical experience in a variety of acute inpatient and ambulatory care settings at UHN. I am interested in health promotion and disease prevention within the hospital setting as highlighted by my previous quality improvement work developing and implementing immunization protocols for the Splenectomy and Glomerulonephritis populations.
