Dr. MacDonald is a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician with a focus on stroke rehabilitation. She is a Clinician Investigator at Sinai Health (Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital) and is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto’s Temerty Faculty of Medicine. Dr. MacDonald is also an adjunct scientist at ICES.
Dr. MacDonald’s research interest is in examining factors associated with stroke rehabilitation outcomes. She has a particular interest in the role of sex and gender.
