Dr Jonathan Marcus is a family physician practicing in Toronto. An unconventional thinker with a deep interest in improving digital health, he is part of a team of researchers that model novel approaches to interoperability at the University of Toronto’s IHPME. Their work focuses on planning a digital future where all healthcare system participants from grassroots users (patients and providers), organizations and government share in seamless access to data. His end-goal is to enable a safer, more efficient and sustainable system. Dr. Marcus writes about the same in his blog in the Medical Post.
