My research interests are located at the intersection of sociology of knowledge, higher education and interdisciplinary studies. My current projects focus on interdisciplinary research policies in Canada and Sweden and on the institutionalisation of interdisciplinary fields in these two countries.
I received the Sheffield Award in 2001 for the best paper published in the Canadian Journal of Higher Education, and the Best Paper Award in 2011 from the American Sociological Association section on Science, Knowledge and Technology.
I received my PhD in Sociology from the Université de Montréal in 1999.
