Dr. Mozessohn is a staff hematologist at the Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre and an assistant professor at the University of Toronto. He obtained his medical degree from McGill University and then completed residency programs in internal medicine and hematology at the University of Toronto. He subsequently completed a clinical fellowship in myelodysplastic syndromes and lymphoma at the Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre. During which time, he completed the Veterans Affairs Quality Scholars Program. He also completed a Master of Public Health in Clinical Effectiveness at the T.H. Chan School of Public Health at Harvard University. His research focuses on health services and outcomes-based research in hematologic cancers. As an Adjunct Scientist at ICES and Affiliate Scientist at the Sunnybrook Research Institute, he primarily uses administrative data to better understand cancer care delivery and the impact of patient-related factors on treatment outcomes.
