Dr. Leahora Rotteau is the program manager and a qualitative health services researcher at the University of Toronto, Centre for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (CQuIPS). In 2021, Leahora received her PhD from the University of Toronto, Institute for Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation. Her research interests include the use of qualitative methods and social theory to better understand how and why quality improvement and patient safety interventions are taken up and spread in practice. Her work also focuses on the exploration of the social, structural, and policy factors that enable the integration of care across acute, primary, and community sectors to support the creation of new care pathways and improve healthcare access across a diversity of communities.
