Juliana is Senior Program Advisor for the Health Technology Assessment program at Ontario Health. In her role she provides secretariat support for the Ontario Health Technology Advisory Committee, leads the prioritization of health technology assessments, and provides program development support. She currently sits on the Pan-Canadian HTA Collaborative and co-leads the International Network of Agencies for Health Technology Assessment Environmental Sustainability in HTA Learning Group. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Juliana served on the Ontario Health COVID-19 Secretariat and provided support for various clinical science committees.
Juliana completed her PhD in Health Services Research at IHPME with Professor Fiona Miller. She has an interest in health technology assessment, organizational decision-making and priority-setting, health/technology and social innovation policy, and an emerging interest in environmental sustainability in HTA.
Juliana is currently Adjunct Lecturer at IHPME for HAD 5011H Canada’s Health System & Health Policy.
