My research focus is in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, with a special interest in improving systems of care related to total joint arthroplasty and orthopaedic trauma. Previous work has involved developing and implementing care pathways designed to decrease length of stay and improve outcomes following total knee arthroplasty, developing quality standards for hip fracture management, and creating interventions to standardize and reduce post-operative opioid prescribing.
My clinical expertise is in hip and knee arthroplasty (including complex primary and revision procedures) and orthopaedic trauma.
