Roadmap

This at a glance guide will help you navigate what to expect in the MHSc in Health Administration program.

The MHSc program is divided into five sessions (or blocks) and includes five modules per block.

Classes are delivered in extended weekends called modules. Times are: Wednesday evening (5:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.), all day Thursday (8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.), all day Friday and Saturday (8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.).
See timetables for more precise schedule information.

The program curriculum is designed and sequenced to provide for the development of fundamental health leadership knowledge, skills and competencies. The National Center for Health Leadership’s Competency Model (NCHL) is used as a guideline to provide students with an overview of the knowledge, skills and abilities central to the program’s learning outcomes. The MHSc Health Administration program is designed to provide a solid foundation for the development of the Professional Competencies for Certified Health Executives as outlined by the Canadian College of Health Leaders.
