Where Equity Meets Innovation
Research and Impact Day (RID) 2026 brings together students, researchers, health system leaders, and community partners to explore how equity-centred innovation can drive meaningful impact across the health system.
Guided by student leadership, this year’s program focuses on how health technologies, programs, and policies can be designed and implemented to reduce inequities, respond to lived experience, and support fair access and outcomes.
The day will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, and concurrent sessions, curated with and by IHPME students.

Venue
Research and Impact Day 2026 will be held at the Chestnut Conference Centre, owned and operated by the University of Toronto.
Located near Nathan Phillips Square, the Conference Centre sits in the heart of Toronto’s downtown core.
