The Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME) at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health is excited to share the re-appointment of Professor Audrey Laporte as its Director.

Laporte joined IHPME as acting Director in 2019 before officially assuming the role in January 2020. During her tenure, she has led the expansion of various initiatives, driving innovation within IHPME’s academic programs. Furthermore, she has been a steadfast champion of diversity, fostering an inclusive and collaborative community of leaders and educators.

In addition to serving as the Director of IHPME, Laporte also holds the position of Director of the Canadian Centre for Health Economics (CCHE), where she applies her experience as an internationally recognized expert in health economics.

Serving as Director of IHPME for the last 5 years has been just the best job. I very much look forward to working alongside our outstanding faculty, staff, students and the IHPME community at large over the next 5 years to build on our excellence in teaching, training, research and engagement.

– Professor Audrey Laporte

Professor Laporte will begin her second term on January 1, 2025.
