In uncertain times for healthcare access, respected physicians are more crucial than ever. To address this uncertainty, the Village Post has released its list of Toronto’s Top Doctors of 2025. Among this list are 16 IHPME Faculty Members.

This year marks the fourth iteration of this list, recognizing 415 doctors across 54 specialties, and providing patients searching for trusted medical practitioners with a valuable resource.

“We are incredibly proud to see so many of our esteemed faculty recognized among Toronto’s Top Doctors,” says IHPME Director Audrey Laporte. “This recognition is a testament to their commitment to transforming health systems through discovery, leadership, and learning. Their contributions not only impact patient care but also shape the future of healthcare. Congratulations on this well-deserved honour!”

The selection process is peer-driven, allowing doctors to nominate colleagues they think are most deserving and trusted to provide the best care to patients.

It is an honour to be selected by colleagues as one of Toronto’s Top Doctors. It is also very humbling to see the list of fantastic doctors selected. Our work at IHMPE and at our research institutes as clinician investigators and scientists is so tightly linked to our clinical work. As I reflect on this nomination, I can’t help but feel a sense of pride around the work we as a community at IHPME are doing to study and improve our healthcare system and prepare the next generation of scientists.
