Description
HAD4000H-F2 provides the basis for understanding and applying the elements of a Learning Health System to identify, implement and adopt health system innovation and transformation. It draws on multi-disciplinary principles to provide a range of conceptual models and practical tools learners can employ in different contexts. The course is founded on the Learning Health System Action Framework which is being widely adopted across Canada. The course provides learners with core concepts and practical tools that they can use to understand and identify opportunities for health system innovation and population health improvement in a range of settings. It will provide learners with skills and tools to design, develop, and systematically apply state-of-the-art LHS methods and approaches. It will also provide learners the written and oral communication skills to effectively and concisely describe and defend LHS approaches.
