Best Practice in Education Rounds (BPER) October 6th

Share Event

Hello Everyone!

On Tuesday October 6th  at noon there will be a Best Practice in Education Rounds (BPER) session by Dr. Sarah Wright entitled:

Reconsidering competition and privilege in health professions education: is there another way?

Please mark it down in your calendar and come check it out! See the attached poster and the session description below for more information. Hope to see you there!

Session Description:

In this session, Pierre Bourdieu’s theories will be used to explore the ways in which medical schools and medical school applicants compete for capital in the field of medical education. Critical reflexivity will be proposed as a way to better understand and possibly reshape health professions education practice.

Additionally, please note the dates on the “Save the Date” poster for the remaining BPER session of 2015.

Thanks!
