CCHE Seminar Series – Friday with IHPME’s Adrian Rohit Dass!

As part of the Canadian Centre for Health Economics (CCHE) Friday Health Economics Series, we welcome Adrian Rohit Dass this Friday November 28th, 10am – 12pm in HS100 (Health Sciences Building 155 College Street). Adrian will be giving an introduction on the LaTeX typesetting system.

Adrian Rohit Dass is a Research Coordinator at the Institute of Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation at the University of Toronto. He holds a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Guelph. He is interested in the application of econometric methods to survey and administrative data from longitudinal studies. His primary area of research is applied microeconometrics in the field of health economics.

Abstract

LaTeX is a typesetting system that is used to create publication-quality documents and professional-looking presentations. It is widely used in academia and is freely available through the LaTeX project. This seminar will give an introduction on the use of the LaTeX editors TeXworks and TeXShop to create LaTeX documents and presentations. No previous knowledge of LaTeX is necessary. All are welcome.
