Navigating the Future: The Role of AI in Transformative Healthcare

IHPME is happy to announce that our annual Research and Impact Day will be held on Wednesday April 24, 2024, starting at 9AM. The event will be held in the Health Sciences Building located at 155 College Street, Toronto, ON.

Our event theme this year is ‘Navigating the Future: The Role of AI in Transformative Healthcare.’ We have an excellent day planned with insightful keynote and panelist speakers to discuss various topics related to AI implementation in the healthcare setting(s). The event will have scheduled registration and breakfast, lunch provided, and a ‘wine & cheese’ reception to end our evening together.

Abstract Submissions [EXTENDED- Abstract submission deadline is now April 1, 2024]

Abstract submissions will be eligible for both poster and oral presentations on the day of the event. We encourage the submission of any ongoing or completed research, coursework, or practicum projects. There are no methodological constraints for submissions. As well, your submissions do not need to align with the conference theme.

Suggested format for submissions: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions but this is flexible. Please submit your work in the format you believe is best suited for it. Maximum 2000 character abstracts (approximately 250 words). You may submit multiple projects provided the content is distinct from one another.

NOTE: If you are unable to attend the event in person, please submit an abstract for consideration of pre-recorded poster/oral presentation. There is now the option on the ‘Abstract Submission’ Google form to be considered for this. In addition to selecting this option, please also send your abstract to Justin.pymento@mail.utoronto.ca) to receive confirmation of this.
