Dr. Foroutan is an associate scientist at the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre Research Institute. He is the scientific lead for the analytic branch of the Ted Rogers Computation Program. Dr. Foroutan obtained his training in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at McMaster University. His expertise are in systematic reviews and meta-analyses, clinical practice guideline development, and derivation and validation of prognostic models. He is the data science program lead for the Ted Rogers Centre for Heart Research at UHN.
