Laurie Bourne is a dynamic healthcare leader who is passionate about improving healthcare delivery and fostering the next generation of leaders. She is currently the Director of Quality, Research and Corporate Governance at Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. Prior to this, she served in various senior leadership roles at Cancer Care Ontario and CorHealth Ontario. She also worked for a number of years at a premier healthcare consulting firm and with the chief medical officer of health at the Ontario Ministry of Health. She holds a Masters of Health Administration and a Masters of Community Health and Epidemiology from the University of Toronto. She is also an adjunct lecturer at the University of Toronto and Certified Executive Coach from Royal Roads University.
