Ayah Nayfeh

Ayah Nayfeh is a Senior Analyst in Global Health Policy at Global Affairs Canada. She leads Canada’s policy and position on global health in multilateral fora, including the World Health Organization, United Nations General Assembly, G7/G20, and other governing bodies. Previously, she held roles at the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the Conference Board of Canada, and Healthcare Excellence Canada.

Ayah has over 15 years of experience leading implementation research and population health programs to improve equity and access to health services for marginalized communities in Canada and internationally. She brings practical experience in global and public health policy, diplomacy, and evaluation of complex interventions. Ayah holds a PhD in Health Systems Research from the University of Toronto, MSc in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences from the University of Ottawa, and BHSC Honors Specialization in Health Sciences with Biology from Western University.
