Professional Interests
My professional interests lie in the domain of health innovation policy and ethics, ranging from examinations of health research commercialization and conflicts of interest, procurement in public sector health organizations, and ethics in Health Technology Assessment.
Impact
In my current role at the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH), I lead the development of ethics methodologies and practices in Health Technology Assessment (HTA). Prior to this, I have worked on examining practices of innovation procurement in Ontario’s health care organizations with the World Health Innovation Network, University of Windsor; worked to develop a vision for high performance in Ontario’s health care system for the Ontario Hospital Association; and have been involved in several multi-disciplinary research initiatives examining the interface of ethics, health policy, and innovation.
