As an Early Career Researcher, Dr. Shumit Saha is committed to advancing a patient-centered research program that utilizes technologies to enhance digital health interventions and empower equitable outcomes for patients living with chronic conditions. Dr. Saha’s primary role is as a Senior Scientific Associate with the Centre for Digital Therapeutics at University Health Network (UHN), Toronto, Canada. In his capacity, he leads the data science team of the Centre to design, develop, evaluate, and implement digital health products and services.

His program of research has been focused on a) developing artificial intelligence (AI) embedded mobile and digital technologies, such as wearables, smartphones, and applications (apps), to better manage chronic diseases, and b) big data analysis of largescale surveys and electronic health records (EHR) to enhance equitable public healthcare and support or evaluate policy.

Till Date, he has been awarded $150K+ worth of funding as principal investigator along with published 15+ journals and presented in 32+ conferences.
