The East Toronto Health Partners (ETHP), a collection of cross-sectional care delivery organizations in Ontario, Canada, have committed to addressing health inequities. This qualitative exploratory study aims to understand how ETHP member organizations define health equity, collect, utilize, and recommend sharing health equity data to address population needs. It also covers exploring better collaborate and align our goals in collecting and using health equity data to design intervention to decrease inequity in East Toronto. This work will serve as a foundation for future work in developing an approach that is feasible, usable, routinely used, and trusted by the community, that will help guide equity-informed healthcare decision making to advance the equity and population health agendas of the ETHP Ontario Health Team.
